Houston Michael Aaron

Mike Aaron is an experienced family law mediator trained in the collaborative divorce process. Mr. Aaron represents his clients in all aspects of the negotiation and settlement of their family law issues, including custody, parenting agreements, child and spousal support and division of marital property. He has a passion for assisting individuals and families through difficult legal circumstances as quickly, painlessly and successfully as possible.

Mike has practiced various aspects of family law since graduating from law school in 1975. Since 1990, his practice has been limited to family law. He has given lectures on many different subjects of family law over the years, including child support guidelines, premarital agreements, qualified domestic relations orders and mediation. He is a qualified mediator of family cases having completed his mediation training at the Collaborative Group of Boston in 2009. Subsequently, he has returned twice for additional mediation training with the Collaborative Group of Boston. He has mediated more than 400 cases, including cases from most parishes surrounding East Baton Rouge Parish.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Abby, and their two dogs. He also enjoys getting to visit with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling and art collecting.
